Gaurav Ogale loves telling stories, whether through photography, art, writing, or a complex form. He says his inspiration has its roots in the most elemental- “The rural, the India still lurching in the shadows.” He is a film design student currently based in Pune where he is pursuing a course in film and video design.
He credits his guru, the late Subhash Mali, an artist himself, as the person who introduced him to illustration at the young age of ten years. He has a weakness for chai and fountain pens and admits to a fondness towards nostalgia as a theme.
Ask him about the one thing that he would like to do before he turns 40, and he says it would be to learn his Grandmother's secret recipes. A daunting task by all accounts.
